I-95 at J.T. Butler Boulevard

This Design Build project features the hybrid system to system reconfiguration of the I-95 interchange with J.T. Butler Blvd & Belfort Road. Includes 2 miles of concrete widening along I-95, 1 mile of asphalt widening and reconstruction along J.T. Butler Blvd, 8 ramp re configurations. Five new bridges are part of the project, including a 3rd level 1400’ curved concrete U-Girder flyover bridge, 3 new I-95 Mainline bridges and a grade separated braided ramp bridge at Belfort Road and J.T. Butler. Project also includes a combination of high mast and conventional lighting, ITS including three new DMS structures, 4 signalized intersections, 16 overhead sign structures, 135,000 sf of MSE wall, 3500ft of sound walls, 6 new storm water ponds, permitting, and utility relocations.
