Utility Coordinator
Requirements:
-
2-4 yrs experience of FDOT utility coordination
-
Recent FDOT experience
-
Good written and oral communication skills
-
Excellent organizational skills
-
Flexibility in wide array of tasks given
-
Familiarity with Microstation/Geopak Software a plus
Responsibilities:
-
Complete utility coordination in conjunction with FDOT Policies and Procedures.

Identification of existing utilities and coordinating with utility owners.

Identification of utility conflicts and coordination with engineer of record on the development of the utility conflict matrix.

Prepare, submit and coordinate utility contact packages.

Hold utility coordination meetings and provide meeting packages.
-
Prepare and submit all necessary agreements required for the project.

Assist the utility agencies with the development of the utility work schedules.

Review marked plans, utility work schedule for completeness and accuracy and complete constructability review.

Ensure all utility impacts are resolve and all necessary utility accommodations are complete.

Provide required documentation (schedule, status reports, certification, etc.) to project manager.

Assist with project pursuits (LOI, ELOI, Technical Proposals, Presentations, etc).

Review utility permit packages for impacts to existing project and providing recommendation.
