Utility Coordinator

Requirements:

  • 2-4 yrs experience of FDOT utility coordination

  • Recent FDOT experience

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Flexibility in wide array of tasks given

  • Familiarity with Microstation/Geopak Software a plus

 

Responsibilities:

  • Complete utility coordination in conjunction with FDOT Policies and Procedures.

  • Identification of existing utilities and coordinating with utility owners.

  • Identification of utility conflicts and coordination with engineer of record on the development of the utility conflict matrix.

  • Prepare, submit and coordinate utility contact packages.

  • Hold utility coordination meetings and provide meeting packages.

  • Prepare and submit all necessary agreements required for the project.

  • Assist the utility agencies with the development of the utility work schedules.

  • Review marked plans, utility work schedule for completeness and accuracy and complete constructability review.

  • Ensure all utility impacts are resolve and all necessary utility accommodations are complete.

  • Provide required documentation (schedule, status reports, certification, etc.) to project manager.

  • Assist with project pursuits (LOI, ELOI, Technical Proposals, Presentations, etc).

  • Review utility permit packages for impacts to existing project and providing recommendation.
